Why "Blue Diamond"
The National Alliance for Public Safety GIS (NAPSG) developed a set of symbols for Emergency Response. In that set, the symbol for Incident Command Post (ICP) is the following:
We felt that "Blue Square" wasn't as cool as "Blue Diamond"
