So because messages can be any size but usually have words, regardless of language, if a word at the edge of the window wrapped around so it stayed whole, that would be best. Like Okayu became "Okay-u" because of not fitting entirely on the line.

It used to wrap word, and yes most of the time messages have word with spaces. Edge case is the "AAAHHHHHHHHHH" or other messages like that which broke the layout of the extension, so I added word break. I wanted to have hyphenation which is what you are suggesting, but somehow the CSS option doesn't work at all for me. I don't know if it's a problem of the browser, as hyphenation is a bit more complex, as according to documentation, it's based on a dictionnary. I will have to do some more research... There is also PR #83 which is reimplementing word wrap.
