Error messages and shake animation during skip back #319

If the user inputs a bad value they get feedback in the form of error messages and shaking input buttons - this is good!
If the user wants to skip back to a previous animation, they'll see these error messages and button shakes again. It just makes it seem as if something is wrong when it isn't.
