Feature Request: Move all selected tabs to new window

The following options are available for moving tabs to a new window:

However, there's no option to move all selected tabs into a new window, which to me is a shame! I'd imagine this implemented as either:

1. replacing the "move tab to new window" option
2. an additional setting for this option
3. a separate option

Hi, thanks for your kind feature request.
This sounds reasonable to me. I think the reason why it hasn't been request before is because you cannot select tabs with a gesture.

Out of interest how do you imagine the work flow?
Would it be like:

1. select the tabs in the tab strip via Shift/Ctrl + Click
2. execute the gesture with the "Move all selected tabs to new window" command

This raises the question if all commands that currently work for a single selected tab (like pin or duplicate) should be enhanced or get an additional command for selected tabs. I would prefer not creating additional commands but then the command name might be misleading as it is singular and not plural. Not sure if Do something with Tab(s) would be a good compromise.

Enhancing existing commands and incorporating tab(s) into the name sounds like a really elegant solution to me! I do think that in certain cases, there should be an "additional setting" to "affect all selected tabs" (eg: only refreshing your current tab VS all selected tabs)

And yes, that's generally my workflow. Although the more i think about it, the more situational the actual use case is. My main annoyance with manually dragging tabs down into a separate window is that it involves:

1. additional precise mouse movement to the top of the screen/window
2. semi-precise dragging a certain distance from the tab strip (and not into another window's tab strip)

I didn't even consider using gestures to select multiple tabs - this would cut out needing the kind of precise mouse movements described above! That being said, it seems like that would come with a whole other set of considerations. For example: i'm not sure if it's technically possible to view a tab before adding it to your selection, without deselecting the entire selection first.

@Robbendebiene If i may ask: are you currently using this add on? And what's your configuration? I've been playing around with a few different options, but haven't settled on somthing i'm 100% satisfied with.

Yes, tab selection commands might not be easily possible. I'll still give it a try.

However I'm currently limited in time so don't expect this feature in the near future.

And what's your configuration?

My configuration is very basic and almost identical to the default configuration except some special gestures that resemble a letter for rarely used commands (S for search popup and R for recently closed tabs popup).
If you settle on a configuration, please share it. I'm always interested in other configurations.
