Wow!! These new features make it the dream scraping tool!!

I can't wait!!
I have two questions about the internals... (let's just say I haven't tested it in this regard.)
1 - If I scrape a ROM with various engines, for example, first with arcadedb, then with screenscraper, and then with emumovies, from a metadata perspective, should I only have the metadata from the last engine, emumivioes (obviously for the selected types), right?
And from a media perspective, can I see media from all scrapers on the media page, or just from the last one, like with the metadata?

2 - What's the correct way to update the program installation? For example, I extract the new zip file to a temporary folder and then overwrite only the files that are actually different.
Or do you recommend just overwriting?

1 - As long as you have not checked either of the media or metadata overwrite checkboxes, existing data does not get overwritten. The overwrite name checkbox is checked by default though. It's always a crapshoot as to which scraper has the best media and there are many times where you might need to mix/match for best result. For example, if you are scraping Mame, you definitely want the EmuMovies High Definition videos (sub needed to download videos I believe). They just made those available a few months ago. They use a lot more disk space, but are worth it I think.

2 - Always make sure you don't lose your ScreenScraper cache files since they take a long time to make. Cache for ArcadeDB is easy and quick to generate so losing that is not a big deal. EmuMovies just caches to memory each time to load the program. For updating, you can just copy the contents of the new program into an existing folder. New versions always reset settings to default to ensure that proper defaults are loaded. I know that might be a bit annoying, but necessary to avoid issues where the settings change.

I know there are other scrapers, but I feel between these 3 you get the best possible results.

thanks for the clarification on the update. and..

so the media page show only the content we have in use in the gamelist (which obviously comes from previous scrapers and is cached), and we can drag&drop wiht that content.

But there's no use case where all the media and metadata (available in cache) from the various scrapers used are previewed, so you can drag and drop the preferred type.
Let me explain:
For example, for the 'description' field, of the three available scrapers that I can preview, I prefer the arcadeDB one (I drag and drop).
For the 'video' field, among the available ones, I prefer EMUmovies (I drag and drop).
For the 'genre' field, I prefer the screenscreper one because it's not present in the other two scrapers (I drag and drop).

I hope I've explained myself better, it's just a suggestion.
