We're happy Mocha.js users in javascript, but REST API testing is more verbose and less descriptive without "describe GET" et.al.

We could just start up the microservice and run rspec + testbeat on it, but to me it's a frustrating exercise, probably because of the combination of different language syntax and similar coding structure.

A js impl of testbeat would clearly be a more relaxing experience in js projects.

maybe we should support

as well as

describe("/rest", function() {
  describe("GET", function() {...
  describe("POST", function() {...

I'm quite interested in how this affects test development style. Blog posts tend to do the request in it (it's either there or in before - but I agree with https://medium.com/javascript-scene/why-i-use-tape-instead-of-mocha-so-should-you-6aa105d8eaf4#.ah55ms505 you should avoid before) which means you'll tend to only assert one thing per request. With an implied request in the describe, and request de-duplication like in the ruby impl, you'll more likely group all asserts for a REST resource.
