Take / Get All [command]

Allow take all or get all to pick up everything in a room.

I hate the very idea of get all, but I will implement it if you guys want it.

If people are against it, that is totally understandable! I've always been on the fence about it -- we can see what everyone else wants first.

If it was selective about what "get all" meant, I'd be fine with it, but my experience with one particular MUD I play annoys me. You use "get all" and you end up with a inv full of gibs or being told you can't take an entire berry bush, or whatever. It should target only valid items if we do implement it.

I wouldn't do it any other way. It would also spur me to implement inconsequential objects that would be ignored by it - like gibs.

I played a mud once where people would run scripts like

on repeat, and just run around combat zones as fast they could. Bastards would pop in, steal all your loot, and vanish, right when you killed some tough mob. I did not play that mud for long.
