Performance issues with large profile (17 GB) #635

Currently on Betterbird 140.7.0esr-bb17 (64-bit)
Quickfolders 6.14.2
My Problem:
Betterbird felt very laggy when starting it up. I usually gave it a minute or two to settle down. For example, using (Betterbird) complex filterrules to move multiple unread messages sitting in the inbox, it was possible to observe how they remained in the inbox for a while, until slowly being moved to corresponding folders one by one. Another example: When opening or switching folders, clicking was not responsive (took a second or two). This issue has existed for months, probably years, but I ignored it, because I thought the cause were either complex filterrules or my profile simply containing too many messages (I have like a Million RSS feeds and thousands of e-mails).
The Workaround I found:
Disable QuickFolders.
Now at least switching between folders is almost instant. Although it understandably still takes a little, when opening one with 20 000 - 100 000 rss feeds (Maybe I should start removing unnecessary attachments), but the smaller ones are fine now!
What data would I need to provide to debug this problem? Though, I am short on time in the next two months and cannot do a deep dive. I will disable the addon meanwhile, as it is not necessary for any of my workflows right now. Just wanted to let you know something is up, even if I don't know what exactly.
