Release a portable version storing exports and history in executable folder rather than %appdata%

This is a good idea. One thing I have been thinking, is to build an installer / updater for some folks.

I have seen some struggles among the target audience with installation (downloading and unzipping a file and running it). Some aging folks who also experience memory issues can struggle a lot with that. And we want to make things easier, not more difficult.

I think we'll settle on dual builds, one with installer/updater, and one raw build that is portable (even with persistence data). For some, the portable build can be easier / simpler, but for others, the ease of a one-time double-click installer and auto-updates is going to be extremely important I've found.

Of course, we could also focus a bit on hosted website version (not as a replacement, but a second supported option). This could make it easier for people to choose to share their data with doctors or caregivers too.

I wanted to focus on a privacy-first local model, but the reality is that some of our core audience struggles a lot with that.
