Description
Hello,
I wanted to share a bit of feedback based on how I remember playing Marble Blast Gold as a kid. One of the most fun parts of the game for me was experimenting with cheats and the developer console. It felt less like “cheating” and more like exploring the game—playing with gravity, speed, jump height, and seeing levels in ways you normally couldn’t.
I remember using key combinations to open the console (especially on Mac) and typing commands to modify physics or movement. It was a great way to learn how the game worked under the hood and added a lot of replay value outside of normal progression. For me and a lot of other players, cheats were part of the creativity and experimentation that made the game memorable.
I understand why cheats aren’t always enabled by default, but I wanted to mention how much that aspect contributed to the fun and longevity of the game for me growing up. Even having an optional or sandbox-style way to experiment with those mechanics was something I really appreciated.
Thanks for all the work you’ve put into the project—Marble Blast Gold was a huge part of my childhood, and I still enjoy revisiting it.
Best,
Bradley
