When I open the application , there seems to be always a error !

I'm using windows 7 and after downloading the various component like Adobe and mircosoft they will always appear a error

My error says "Please install the latest Adobe Air", then links me to the Adobe Air download page, where I can get the latest version (13.0 I think). Problem is: that doesn't fix anything, I get the same message again.
Just downloaded the source and when I remove the lines that check for Adobe Air it seems to work.

I have the same error. Being a complete code novice, I'm wondering if Haptix have a compiled solution to this - as I am sure to destroy any attempt I make at doing what Gummiente did so deftly.

hey, i am new to github but i think i created a new branch called without-version-check where you should find my modified version. if so, you can find the comiled version under Handsfree/bin/Release.
edit: yeah okay, that branch is just for me :D
so... i will just upload the folder somewhere...

Hey Gummiente, many thanks for your efforts. I downloaded but sadly wont install - might be a windows7 thing. Windows keeps throwing an error - not the old one re Adobe Air - just an arror related to 3 tmp files. I'll keep testing things- thanks for kindly trying to help out.

hi, you could try to do steps 1 and 2 from the readme.md:

1. Download and install Emgu CV (C# wrapper of OpenCV) from the following link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/emgucv/files/emgucv/2.2.1/libemgucv-windows-x86-2.2.1.1150.exe/download
2. Navigate to the installed directory of Emgu CV, and locate a folder named /bin. Add this folder's full path to "Path" under either "System variables" or "User variables" of Windows's Environmental Variables.

if i dont do that, the new compiled program crashes for me too (but without any errors).
