empty splits

Hello, could you please add a way to make it so that you dont need to use empty splits for this, would be really useful

Hi there. Currently I'm not really interested in implementing this feature, because I don't have a clear way of doing so. There was a good suggestion in #2, but it breaks average times, for example. I will surely look into this someday later, but I cannot promise when

Is there any other component like this that can be used with splits?

Pretty sure there isn't, otherwise I wouldn't make my own one
