Here is the output when attempting to run qp_run on my local OpenSUSE
installation:

Error: Context not closed before finalization
Error: Socket not closed before finalization
Fatal error: exception Not_found

To solve it, set QP_NIC to the loopback interface lo. Add to your .bashrc:

export QP_NIC=lo
