To ensure consistency and reduce cognitive effort across apps/devices for end-users to understand notifications/alerts about the status of BIMI/signed URLs, should there be consistent language?
Some initial suggestions:
For the BIMI VMC:
Verified Entity: This term conveys that the entity has been authenticated and is official, regardless of whether it's - for example - a corporate brand, public sector agency, or educational institution.Unverified Entity: Indicates that the entity's identity could not be confirmed.For the Signed URL or Data:
Trusted Information: This phrase indicates that the content or link is secure and has been verified, assuring users that it's safe to proceed.Untrusted Information: Suggests that the content or link is not secure or could be unreliable.Example uses:
