  • Currently the map is created as a fairly straightforward random traversal, with objects being placed in random positions. This works mostly fine, however it means that there is a lot of weirdness that pops up such as stairs blocking parts of the map, requiring the player to go up and back down again to get to the other side, which is frustrating. It should also be mentioned that by working on a new way to generate maps, this affords the opportunity to work on monster spawning (both fixing the spawns, and allowing more variety of monsters to spawn (e.g. the monsters not currently being spawned)).
