Logon fails when 'name' field is not set on github

-github allows users to sign up without having the 'name'-field set
-broadgauge uses this field to fill out its own 'name'-field for the user
-the logon will fail with the message 'Authorization failed, please try again.' leaving no clue on what the problem is

Login procedure now allows 'name'-field on github to be empty. If it is present, it is used to fill out the respective field in the broadgauge user registration. After login the 'signup'-dialog asks the user to provide the name (among others).
