Tram Signals with Display Links #27

Hi! Do you think it would be possible to use Tram Signals with Display Links? That would be really great if it were possible! (Whether for displaying Tram Signals or the switch position)
How is this supposed to work? A bit like displaying the status of a train signal on a Nixie tube. But instead of displaying it with a Nixie tube, it would display the train signal itself. (Girder with a black screen)
This would allow for more features, such as: the first tram signal (at the bottom) would display the switch status, and the second (at the top) would display the signal status (like train signals). All of this would be done using existing textures. Furthermore, in the future, we could potentially customize the visual appearance of the signals with texture packs, like those offered by Steam 'n' Rails, which, for example, provides a green version of the signals (instead of the default white).
I'm eager to find out if this will be feasible and if it would be accepted. 😄
