BUG: non aosp camera apps require unlock to open using lockscreen shortcuts or even double press power button #14
Description
I have leica camera in my phone which is the default for newer hyper os devices and it is ported to aosp by devs as it provides higher image quality
the problem is that double press power button and lockscreen shortcut needs entering pin to open the camera, opencamera has an option that works to show on lockscreen without unlock, but even GCam needs unlock
I tried leica as the only camera app, and tried with multiple camera apps, it required my confirmation of selecting one of them as (always open this app) for selecting the default camera app, it always require pin except for opencamera when the option is enabled
i noticed this bug in all aosp roms but i decided to report it here
