First, apologies if this is the wrong place.
Please ignore or delete if out of order.
Just thinking... When you CAT or CATALOG a ProDOS disk, locked files have an asterisk to indicate locked status. Now, since DIR files are locked by default, could ProDOS be modified to show a "/" for DIR files where locked files have the asterix?
Like this:
*PRODOS
*BASIC.SYSTEM
START
/DIRECTORY
etc
Just a cosmetic thing that wandered across my mind...
