022-5432

Hello, there's been a fairly common error code going around in which users (usually new ones), receive error code 022-5432 during the linking of their account. It's happened since 2022, but has become exponentially more common.
There's only 2 solutions I know work, 1 of them having various degrees of success:

1. Switching to Nintendo via nimbus.
2. turning the console on/off
3. then reconnecting to Pretendo via nimbus.

But it doesn't often work, the only other solution I know is removing nnid with gm9, the problem with it is that it causes more problems down the line, which is a fairly difficult problem to deal with when trying to help people fix it.

I am making this issue to ask if anyone can go through and see if there is anything code-wise that may be causing this error, as I'm trying to rule out if it's a server error or not, as it's a very annoying error to deal with. Thank you very much!

Hello. I am using Miiverse on the Pretend network and since August 3, 2024, I have been getting error code 022-5432. After trying the solution, I now get error code 015-5015. I still don't know how to fix this. Since then, I have been getting error code 015-5015.

here, go to system settings got to Internet setting go to spotpass click both of them and click no on evything if not reinstall pretendo, try 3dsx try going to nintendo and pretendo back amd forth, update luma or delete cfw and install it again if not go to internet browser and the settings, scroll down and click initialize sabe date and fix it like do the tutourial go back and try it again and if not try making another acc email or another pretendo acc and try it again if not check if you have a good signal and make sure your runing the latest nimbus and the latest luma so it will work properly the one clicking evrything no on internet setting worked for me i guess this helps or you already solved it? dont comment my mom be mad i only want to help

Hi, I've been experiencing this issue since 2024. Recently I did the provided steps and it didn't work, so I tried again but this time chose the Mii option to use my Pretendo Mii instead of the one on the system. Somehow this worked and I'm not sure weather it was because of the Mii option or switching once more but I hope this helps someone out there.

Sometimes occurs when linking or creating a PNID, or occasionally when launching Juxt (Miiverse). To fix this, launch Nimbus and switch to Nintendo Network. Launch the Nintendo eShop, and wait for it to load or error out. Afterwards, launch Nimbus again, and switch back to Pretendo. Immediately after the console restarts, go back to System Settings → Nintendo Network ID Settings, and try linking or creating the account again. If you re-encounter the error, retry this solution until you're successfully able to link or create the account

thanks, this thread helped me get pretendo running on my new 3ds ll (region swapped).

I tried different orders of steps before looking up the code and I think what did it was swapping back to nintendo servers, back to pretendo, rebooting the console, and trying it from there.

I also did a segway accepting the license terms and creating my own mii trying to work it out. Not sure if that had any impact. gl! and thanks!

oh yeah, and the mii has to be kept, the one from the pretendo servers. (I followed the guide and made the account beforehand) I think if I had made the account on the 3ds this wouldn't have happened.
