the difference among cue-synth-datasets/benchmarks/basic/cue/linked, long and short?

Hi, 
I have installed the cue software and tested the demo, it worked.
Next, I want to detect SV in whole GRCh38 genome. 
In the first step, which "xxx.sorted.vcf.gz" file should I choose in my test/ground_truth?
In this directory "cue-synth-datasets", there are so many files that I can not choose the best for me.
Can you give me some advice? Thank you in advance!
