"The Law provides a social security allowance (cash transfer) of Seven Thousand Naira (₦7,000) monthly to physically disabled persons as provided under the state Law No. 6 of 2007. As the law provides, the driving force for the introduction of the social security policy is to outlaw begging, reduce poverty and uplift the standard of living of persons living with disabilities in the state"
