There's a weird bug where it doesn't start if you don't have and audio device

My computer doesn't have a speaker built in and it was not allowing the program to open. I couldn't get a screencap of the error (the console opened and closed really fast), but there was an error displayed on the console about audio devices? 

The moment I connected my bluetooth speaker, the program suddenly started working.
