Bootloop after restoring the backup and uninstalling the module #3

Hi,

I had this module installed but it did not work.
I rebooted, everything is fine, I checked with play integrity check, but I still saw unknown_installed. I tried rebooting again, same result.
So I wanted to uninstall the module.

I went to the backup folder, copied the first (and only) backup; both files, packages_something.bak and packages-warnings_something.bak
I renamed the files to packages.xml and packages-warnings.xml then copied both to /data/system/ and replaced the files there that were modified earlier by the module.

I then went to Magisk and disabled then removed the module, rebooted the device, but now my device reboots each time it finishes the boot process.

What did I do wrong? Is there a way to fix this?
I tried disabling Magisk but results are the same, and now I am locked out of my device :(
I can access the bootloader, fastboot, and recovery modes, but that is about it.

Vendor is OnePlus.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
