What would be the effort to port it for ESP32S3

I'm working on a project that want to send data to server behind NAT, so I wonder whether it's possible to use this library on ESP32S3. if not, what need to be implemented to make it work on ESP32S3

Hi @jasonhao518, our end goal is to make this library run on almost any device. At this stage we are concentrating on interoperability with go-libp2p and rust-libp2p, as tracked in libp2p/test-plans#690. Gossipsub was just recently been added, and further work is required to guarantee that it behaves correctly with other libp2p implementations. Once we are confident that Gossipsub interop is working as expected, we will turn to improving the library and ensuring that it works on constrained devices.

The library’s only major dependency is OpenSSL, if OpenSSL is available for the ESP32S3, compiling c-libp2p should be possible, though I expect that some system-call changes will be needed if ESP32S3 exposes a different API. If changes are required, I expect them to apply to the TCP protocol code and runtime.c.

thank you so much for your quick guide. If the dependency is likely only openssl, I guess it's doable to replace it with mbedtls that is available on most MCU.
