We currently have a custom sdintimaging task since convergence was failing for most 7m+tp datasets I was testing on. This was 4 years ago now, so it's probably time to test if the current implementation works or at least merge in newer changes. I tried just swapping it out and ran into feather issues, but I think this is the same thing that had to be fixed for the postprocessing in newer CASA versions.
Happy to take this on at some point soon, since this should simplify one very wonky point at the moment, and we seem to be moving towards using sdintimaging in general
