Description
Use the ArUco C++ Augmented Reality Library to perform Approximate Pose Estimation (APE) on the dodecahedron. This pose is fed into later stages of the pipeline.
- Become familiar with ArUco by performing a simple pose estimation as a proof of concept
- 3D print the dodecahedron and glue on tracking stickers
- Perform a small pose estimation experiment with ArUco and the dodecahedron as a second proof of concept
- Construct the docedapen as described in the paper
- Implement the "Approximate Pose Estimation" section of the paper
- Merge implementation into the code base
- Assemble and implement tracking for pens with different sized hedrons (other than a dodecahedron)
