Launching Focus Stack under Windows 10

I downloaded OpenCV binary package for Windows from Open CS website. I downloaded Bild Tools for Visual Studio from Microsoft.
I copied and pasted " nmake -f Makefile.windows" in Visual Studio command prompt, but got the answer "nmake - f Makefile.windows is not recognised....." (in french and somewhat longer).

I'd like to know what I can have done wrong.

If you actually got nmake - f Makefile.windows is not recognised... and not just nmake being unrecognized, then you probably have some unwanted quotes in the command.

Otherwise, include e.g. a screenshot of the actual error.

Thank you so much for answering so fast ! As I said, it is in french, but it is not very different from english, both languages having much latin in common. Best regards! Hi I'm having the same issue - I have downloaded and extracted the opencv folders - kept in the download folder for simplicity

@IanThilthorpe I haven't tried with Visual Studio 2022, though I expect it should work the same. It should be quite easy to find nmake on your own computer if it is installed, or try to check the visual studio installation options if it is not installed.

Nmake is a tool provided by Microsoft, I can't really troubleshoot much about why your Visual Studio installation does not find it.

@Kline777 I'm not sure - I think some people have integrated focus-stack to their own GUIs, but I don't have a list.
