MacOS[Support]

Mac OS running v. 2.0.3
Was able to get it running last night but now it's not working.

I assumed mac users are supposed to use the darwin arm?

How am I supposed to run the program? The guide doesnt say what to click to launch and im unsure how to restart it.

I had it working last night but after closing my laptop it it seems to have shut down.

It was in the top taskbar, and now I cant figure out how to run it again.

Based on your logs you ran the .app file in the darwin zip, which is the correct way to run.

It also looks like the logs show a DNS issue likely related to your laptop losing network connectivity when you shut the lid.

You'll have to re-launch the .app file to start the program again and get it back in the taskbar.

Please let me know if this works or if further troubleshooting is needed.

Im having trouble getting it to launch succesfully. It's not showing up in either task manager or activity monitor.

Are any additional logs appended to the log file on these new attempts to launch?

Kinda? it looks like its still running but I cant turn it off. It seems to be polling still?

Heya! So it looks like it's just exiting with status code 1, which is why nothing seems to be happening.

Seems to break when it hits log.SetOutput(f) at the very end of the logOutput function

Weird! Any tips for resetting it/ way I can further help?

@thetzar As a little experiment, I tried making a Swift MacOS app, which means I can use the official Apple Cocoa APIs to set the background:

It's not "great" but I'll be working on it when I can! It currently works On My Machine ™️
