Troubleshooting for panda encoder position not matching EPICS readback value

Problem:

Moving motor +ve in EPICS from 0 caused the INENC value on the PandA to jump to 6709 and then continue to move in the negative direction by 1 each time.

Solution:

• INENCx bits was set to 26, set this to 0
• Set the INENCx scale value -ve so it moves in the expected direction
