A bunch of ideas to make keeping track of alignments easier

Hello everyone,
I had a few ideas that would make it easier to keep track of alignments. Nothing of this is really necessary, but it would be nice to have. So I thought I would share my ideas in the discussion section:

1. Automatic timestamps: when saving an interpolation/series an automatic timestamp could be added to that series'/interpolation's comment, making it easier to keep track of which one is your latest version.
2. Being able to copy-past a series ID: The ID-tags are not editable for a very good reason, but since you cannot select their text, you cannot copy-past the IDs elsewhere either. Right now I am keeping a separate excel file will all my sediment cores and the correspondent Pointers ID of what I consider the 'current best alignment'. Those have to be entered by hand.
3. A readme-type file for a spreadsheet: It would be nice if you could add a text entry to a spreadsheet, e.g. to summarising what is in the different worksheets. With the comment function you can currently do that on the worksheet, but not on the spreadsheet-level.
