make the charge pad evenly spread the available energy onto all energy items. Especially in restricted energy settings it's a hassle to charge the full set of armor and tools especially since the slots are ordered weirdly in their priority IMO and stepping onto the charge pad once instantly pushes almost all energy into the first item
