show URL's in status bar when hovering over them

Can we please show URL's in the VSCode status bar when hovering over Markdown links in the preview pane?

This is important for security and troubleshooting.

If you mean the preview panel within vscode that's not possible. If you mean Print's browser preview, the browser should already do this.

Perhaps you could use screen snaps to show what you have in mind.

Argh, I wonder if the Current Folder in Status Bar plugin may be too aggressively hogging the status bar, preventing other plugins from writing text there.
