Manual Add not working

I've tried reading through the existing and closed issues and following along in the guide on how to manually add actors to a file that will not match. The file I'm trying to match will not match to anything. The only thing I'm trying to do is manually add an actor. I go into plex, click on the file. Select the option to Match. Window opens with no matches found. I select Search options. I delete everything out of the title and just enter the following text without quotes "Add Skylar Snow". The Agent shows PhoenixAdult and when I click on the search button, I get "No matches found." Is there a bug or am I doing something wrong? This feels like it should be pretty straight forward, but doesn't seem to work correctly for me. Any assistance would be helpful, Thanks.

I believe you have to include a title in order for it to work. "Add Skylar Snow in Title" or "Add Skylar Snow in Title at Studio" should work. Lately I've had to try everything twice before it takes though, as the first time I try to manually match something it seems to still use the filename instead of what I typed in. So if it still says no match found, just try again.

I personally prefer using the XBMCnfoMoviesImporter.bundle for manual adding because it allows for more information to be imported via an NFO file.

My fork XBMCnfoMoviesImporter.bundle removes "Unknown Role" from showing under the actors and adds support for WEBP image files.

All the files, images and metadata should be in the same folder.

Example Folder Structure:
.../Studio/Subsite/scenename/

• scenename.nfo (text file with the xml info see below for example)
• scenename.mp4 (most video types should work)
• scenename-fanart.webp (webp, jpg and png are supported)
• scenename-poster.webp (webp, jpg and png are supported)

Notes:

• The ID needs to be unique for each scene (I usually use the scene id from the site or the first letters of the title plus the date)
• Images can be done locally or via URL in the thumb and fanart/thumb keys
• Multiple Actors or genres can be added by re-using the actor/genre keys
