Description
I raised this issue more than 6 years ago (#892) but didn't get a positive answer. Trying it again hoping that the technology around this has changed. Also Google said this about it,
Funds sent to a smart contract address like an ERC-725 address are generally lost because they are irreversible and cannot be undone, but you may be able to recover them by contacting the ERC-725 token's development team or the project management if they have control over the contract and are willing to help. You can verify the transaction's success by checking a block explorer like Etherscan and then attempt to contact the token team.
Basically, when I first started with running a ot-node, I was dump and I followed the instructions on the screen to send some ETH to my operational wallet. But somehow it ended up going to my ERC-725 address. And they are sitting there since then, Now worth almost $ 1K.
I'm wondering if the team has control over this contract and willing to help recover my ETH.
Thanks!
