Documentation of LTPBR Explorer #366
Description
I think the "documentation can be really simple".
- Update current About page text
A paragraph or two and a screen shot about what it does and why it matters.
We then need some help stuff on either the same page or a dedicated help/support page
- Adding a support link for https://riverscapes.freshdesk.com/support/home
- Adding a support widget
Adding some subsections or KB articles that have a sentence or two and as appropriate a short YouTube video and/or screenshot for following:
- Overview of LTPBR Explorer (see Knowledge Base Article I made here)
- What is a "project discussing a project is a phase of implementation at a particular riverscape (place). It is one meal. Subsequent phases (meals) or treatments, at the same spot get a new entry.
- Searching and discovering projects
- Project summaries by State (sorry US only for now) - point out that another country can for now create a summary by attributing their projects to an "Organization"
- Project summaries by Organization
- Adding and editing your project to LTPBR Explorer
- Creating and curating an Organization. Giving credit to multiple organizations.
- Link to Knowledge Base Articles in https://riverscapes.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/folders/153000161803
@nick4rivers most of this can fall on you and I. A few things we will need to discuss with @ybakos or have him plumb. We might hold off on recording videos until the new look and feel is updated.
