Hey @Alfagun74 I know we discussed this privately in Discord - but just wanted to address this for others as well (and will probably make a larger post soon!) Firstly, I totally understand your frustration and and super sorry about this - I am a solo dev working on this part-time at the moment, and so i've spend the last couple weeks focused on setting up the "Pro" plan to help me effectively monetise and justify more of my focus. Now that it has been launched, I am spending the rest of the month prioritising bug fixes and reliability improvements especially across Linux and Windows. So all your feedback, bug reports etc. are extremely helpful and please keep them coming. It means a lot to me that you value the product enough to even write a complaint haha! Please keep your faith and I will address all issues ASAP 🙏 Sorry again for the issues 🙇 |

I really do like this project. But seriously, what happened with the last two updates? They’ve broken more than they improved. Sometimes no audio is detected, the hotkeys won't work, the parakeet download randomly aborts without any informations etc.
Yet somehow, a Pro subscription offer made it through just fine. Hell. I get that monetization matters, I’m a developer with monetized apps myself, but it feels wrong to push paid features when the basic functionality of the app isn’t even stable.
Please focus on getting the core features working reliable, add i13n, proper QA and testing, and make sure the app is at least solid before investing time in monetization.
Otherwise, users will simply move to alternatives. I’m being direct here because this project has real potential, and it’s frustrating to see it undermined by weak releases.
