Handler gets closed and restarted every sec

Handler is started and stopped on each sec on the view refresh.

Try to init it sooner to prevent that creation and evaluate the battery gain.

I think you have addressed this in V2.0.x versions haven't you @pmithrandir? (if so we could close this?)
