I think the mrc writes are happening in the opposite direction compared to earlier.

So basically everything is flipped upside down.

Let me just check this once more and get back in a bit.

Yes. It has got inverted. I am not sure what changed, but an easy fix is it to simply negate the angles internally. So just take negative of tilts (I suspect this was present earlier and got changed during the consolidation).
