Description
Two MSRs, MS-HX1A/1B
Each MSR has chevrons to seperate moisture
Each MSR has four reheater tubes
1st and 2nd stage
1st stage is from from the HP turbine
2nd stage from the main steam lines
Steam from the HP turbine enters the MSRs from the top to have moisture seperated and then reheated
Steam makes its way through the Combined Intercept Valves, to the LP Turbines
Steam from the reheater tubes comes out and makes its way to the reheater drain tanks
Goes to the HP heaters
Condensate drains to the moisture sep drain tank and makes its way to the 5B Heater
Feed heaters connected in cascade - 6-5-4-3-2-1-condenser
RFPT LP steam is from the B MSR
CONTROL THEORY & INTERLOCKS
MSR Stages have valves controllable from Bd B (P840)
Drain tanks to HP heaters have valves controllable from Bd T
Drain tanks also return to the Main Condenser through a LCV
Drain tanks to feed heaters isolate on a Turbine Trip(?)
Two level controllers per drain tank, one to the Main Condenser and one to their respective Feed Heater
DEH Trip on high MSR level - Protects LP turbines from excessive moisture
