Bug Description

I entered the NOTION_TOKEN in the field, saved it and clicked the power button to connect. The message indefinitely says "Connecting..." without producing an error or actually connecting.

This issue has been fixed in v3.3.0-beta.9.

What Changed

1. Connection timeout: MCP server connections now have a 30-second timeout instead of hanging indefinitely
2. Error visibility: Connection errors are now properly shown in the UI with a red "Connection failed" status indicator
3. 4-state status: Servers now show one of: Connected (green), Connecting (yellow), Failed (red), or Disabled (gray)
4. Auto-rollback: If a connection fails, the server config is automatically set back to disabled to prevent a retry loop on app restart

How to Test

Please download the latest release and try connecting to Notion MCP again:

If the connection fails, you should now see a clear error message within 30 seconds instead of "Connecting..." forever. Please share the error message if it still doesn't work — it will help us diagnose the underlying issue.

Reopening — fix is available in v3.3.0-beta.9 but we should keep this open until the reporter confirms it works.

Thanks for reporting this. In the current codebase, the Notion preset is a stdio MCP connector that runs npx -y @notionhq/notion-mcp-server and requires NOTION_TOKEN, and the README also notes that setting the token alone is not enough: the integration must also be added as a connection on a root page.

• After you click connect, what exact error message appears within about 30 seconds?
• Did you add the Notion integration as a connection on a root page, not just paste NOTION_TOKEN?
• Does the connector switch back to disabled after the failure, or stay enabled?
• If available, please attach the app log or a screenshot of the connector status/error.
