The "Session manager not initialized" error and skills loading failure have been addressed in recent versions — we overhauled the startup sequence and session initialization pipeline.

Thanks for reporting this. Based on the current codebase, this looks related to startup/session-manager initialization in the app version you were using.

In the current code, sessionManager and skillsManager are initialized before the interactive window is created, specifically to avoid session.start racing the startup path and hitting a null manager. The client-invoke path still has a guard that throws Session manager not initialized if a session-related event reaches the main process before sessionManager exists. The Skills settings screen now loads through skills.getAll / skills.getStoragePath, and Select Directory first invokes folder.select before calling skills.setStoragePath, so that directory-selection flow should not require sessionManager in the current code.

• Open Cowork version.
• Logs exported from Settings → Logs → Export.
• Whether it happens immediately after launch or only after opening Settings → Skills / clicking “Let's go”.
• Whether a prompt was entered before clicking “Let's go”.
