Run with Power Switch off

When I am connected via USB and I run a program. If the power switch is turned off, I get the dialog that tells me the power switch is off. If I click either OK or Cancel the same thing happens. 

It doesn't run the program and the Connect / Run / Stop button switches to Stop. 

I would have assumed that OK, would run the program and that Cancel would return to the Run button.
