Description
Greetings!
I'm Pim, Technical Director of PHYSEE, and we have build a Building Management Platform that optimises buildings using building physics simulations, SENSE. We utilise DigitalTwin technology to store and manage contextual data.
We have been using RealEstateCore for our ontology, mainly as it implements Azure DigitalTwin DTDL models, so it's easy for us to integrate into our architecture. RECv4 has recently been released and is now fully aligned with the Brick ontology.
I'm always happy and sad to see multiple initiatives for alignment on protocols. Happy to see people feel the same need, sad to see that there is so many standards in the industry. I do think no one can 'win the battle alone', and we are both battling for better data models for buildings.
Should there be an initiative to add REC to the OAP alignment? Or is that similar to a REC <> Haystack alignment?
