[Bug] Multiline blockquotes render as two separate blockquotes

It seems that multi line blockquotes (with explicit linebreaks) are not possible.

I am used to produce a multi line blockquote like this:

> The first line plus two blanks  
> followed by the second line

Expected result:

The first line plus two blanks
followed by the second line

This does not work. Instead of one blockquote over two lines two separate blockquotes are rendered.

This is a visual bug in our rendered view logic. While the underlying parser (Comrak) understands this is a single blockquote, our rendering engine (which translates the Markdown AST to egui widgets) is currently drawing a separate background/border for each line rather than merging them when they are adjacent.

I've flagged this to be fixed in the upcoming patch. The fix will involve checking the previous element's type during the render loop to determine if we should merge the visual container with the previous one.

@Nicknag, this is fixed in v0.2.6.1 which just went out!

Consecutive blockquotes separated by blank lines are now merged into a single continuous block with one border, which matches the expected behavior you described.
