[Bug] Error during launch on Debian 12

The application doesn't start on Debian 12.

I receive:

To help diagnose this, could you run these commands and share the output?

1. Session type: echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
2. GPU/Driver info: glxinfo | head -30 (or glxinfo -B if available)
3. Environment: Are you on bare metal, a VM (VirtualBox/VMware/etc), or connecting remotely (SSH, VNC)?
4. Installation: Did you download a release binary, compile from source, or install via package manager, flatpak?

Also, could you try running with this environment variable?

It is possible that the glxinfo error is due to the NVidia driver update and the fact that I have not yet restarted the system.

Thanks for the detailed info! The glxinfo error confirms this is probably a system-level issue, not a Ferrite bug.

The NVIDIA driver update is almost certainly the cause. After updating NVIDIA drivers on Linux, you need to reboot so the new kernel module loads. Until then, there's a mismatch between the userspace libraries (updated) and kernel module (old), which breaks all OpenGL applications.

Solution: Reboot your system, then try running Ferrite again.

Let me know if it works after the reboot!
