Configuration not saving

Description

The configuration settings are not being saved properly. Specifically, when I disable the trials option in the configuration, the changes are not persisted.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the configuration
2. Locate any option (in this case, the trials)
3. Disable the trials option (false)
4. Save the configuration
5. Launch or restart the game
6. Check the trials status

But the trials are still enabled in-game, despite being disabled in the configuration.
