Figure caption shortcode: Image Resize

We're not able to resize photos when using the figure caption shortcode, see the first 2 photos on the Family page

Can this be fixed so images can be resized smaller?

@Jessdwilson I'm pretty sure the [figure] shortcode is unnecessary here. Wordpress has a built in [caption] shortcode that is automatically created for you when you add a caption to an image.

So just remove the figure shortcode from around the image and then click on the image to resize it and add a caption to it. You'll probably also want to align it left or right.

Thanks, Kirk. The caption short code would be [caption] caption [/caption] correct? I tried this out but it wasn't working, the caption didn't appear on the front-end

If you look further down this page you can see the client tried just adding captions next to photos but there are instances where the caption appears too close to the image or it's formatted strangely

Hey Jessica, I didn't mean to confuse you. You don't actually use the [caption] shortcode. It gets created for you whenever you add a caption to an image in the WYSIWYG editor. If formatting on the frontend seems off we can address that later but for now, remove the old [figure] shortcodes from around images and just add a caption the way you normally would. Then rescale it/align it to your liking.
