the client asked if it's possible to include a link on one page that links (jumps to) to a specific section on a different page

@Jessdwilson this can only be done if you know the ID of the section you want to jump to. ID's aren't really something you edit or control in Wordpress. What specifically are they trying to link to? ID's can only be assigned in the theme code, so you have to know what you'll be linking to beforehand.
