All I did was unzip your zip file... as posted on your website.... ;-)

So yeah, that was a copy/paste

$ find . -name "Jf*" -print
./lib/PhpRbac/src/PhpRbac/core/lib/Jf.php

that is the problem. Linux is case-sensitive. Things have been renamed in the project. Database tables included, they are case sensitive only on Linux.
Thanks for reporting this, we shall look into it.
If you could run the unit tests on your machine and report the result we’d appreciate that.

Looks like you have an issue with the database connection.

Please refer to 'PhpRbac/tests/README.md'.

Specifically:

• Make sure that your database is created and contains the initial required data
• Make sure that 'PhpRbac/tests/database/database.config' contains the proper information
• Make sure that 'PhpRbac/tests/phpunit_mysql.xml' contains the proper information
• Make sure that 'PhpRbac/tests/database/database.config' has the proper permissions (755 should be fine)

Hi,

Yeah, I wasn't sure what your preferences were... some people like pastebin, others like other stuff, so I figured I'd wait for instructions !

Definitley not a DB connection issue, have double checked and can copy/paste configuration parameters on to the mysql command and successfully establish a connection.

Given the install.php script doesn't work, what options do I have for getting the "initial required data" there ? Is there a .sql file lurking somewhere with the schema ? (if not, there should really at least be a .sql file present in the unit tests folder)

The table prefix is not hard coded, those errors report an issue with the variable $tablePrefix, or to be more precise, the lack of the variable $tablePrefix, which should be defined in 'PhpRbac/tests/database/database.config' (when running the Unit Tests).

Can you tell me where you downloaded PHP-RBAC? If from Github, are you downloading from the 'Releases/Tags' page?
